Once again, the catastrophe in Venice was nearly reached because of a cruise ship. Even more than the Art Biennale, in the lagoon city the gigantic cruise ships are the symbol of man’s insatiable and destructive greed.
We are here Venice intervenes, pointing out that at the opening of the Biennale it has been invited to numerous debates on the city, but no one has asked in advance how to make the mega-exposition itself less polluting.
